Requirements

  • Projects will be primarily design-build or secondarily fully designed for new construction and repair of roads and other paved areas
  • Projects may include, but are not limited to: repair of deteriorated asphalt or Portland cement concrete pavement (including full-depth or partial removal, repairs to subgrade and base materials, patching, slurry seal, crack cleaning, and replacement); cold milling of existing asphalt pavement; asphalt overlays; construction of new asphalt or Portland cement concrete pavement (including subgrade and base materials); and pavement marking (striping, reflective markers, signage)
  • Projects may also include site work incidental to paving, including, but not limited to: clearing and grubbing; excavation and earthwork; storm drainage systems and structures; sidewalks; curbs and gutters; wheel stops; disposal and/or recycling of construction and demolition debris. This contract will not include airfield pavement construction
