Requirements

  • Construction services for Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity Illinois Central Railroad Swing Gate, LPV-06f.2.1. The work consists of installing temporary pipeline protection over existing gas line for crane access, removing and storing existing swing gate on-site. Perform selective hydro-demolition of the existing swing gate column. Install temporary mock-up of existing swing gate upper hinge assembly to evaluate and mitigate conflicts with existing column reinforcement. Fabricate and install permanent swing gate upper hinge assembly. Set new column reinforcement and pour concrete. Re-install existing swing gate. Flush existing hydraulic power unit and re-install hydraulic motor. Field test closure of swing gate.
