Project Scope:

  • This project will replace an extended aeration WWTP and associated infrastructure, that is more than 50 years old. The infrastructure includes two disposal ponds, a force main that connects the WWTP to the disposal ponds, and effluent spray field, and a recreational vehicle dump station. The existing plant will be demolished, one pond will be replaced with an enclosed holding tank, the other pond will be demolished, the force main will be replaced, and a recreational vehicle dump station replaced.
  • The existing treated effluent disposal spray field equipment will be replaced with new lower maintenance spray equipment. The new treatment plant will provide modern primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment components and solids handling capability. The wastewater treatment plant operates from May to October with an average flow of 60,000 gallons per day
