Requirements

  • Complete renovation of selected areas within building 745.
  • Building 745 is 21,208 square feet, 2-stories, and classified as a historical building.
  • Interior renovations include performance criteria and life cycle cost analysis involving floor plans, interior walls, ceilings, furniture plan (Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E)), audio visual, data and electrical outlets, soundproofing, secure access control systems, and surveillance cameras.
  • Multiple rooms will require appropriate soundproofing measures.
  • Exterior renovation includes patching and repairing Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) holes and concrete surfaces as required.
  • The intent is to preserve the building’s exterior to the greatest extent possible.
  • Building 745 will include installation of a new back-up generator as well as upgrades to the electrical panels, circuits, and wiring.
  • Demolition includes removal of existing swamp coolers and associated infrastructure.
