Background

NSWC-CR Code GX provides onsite systems integration technical support and engineering design, life cycle support, and advanced engineering to support Strategic Systems Program (SSP) and other Government Agencies (OGA). Code GX provides support to the Department of Defense (DoD) Research and Development efforts study advanced hypersonic technologies. Current efforts are focused on material and technology maturation through various test programs. SSP, in coordination with the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), is currently leading the Navy’s effort for hypersonic technology development, which involves multiple OGA support with various aspects of the technology development efforts.

Code GX provides the requisite expertise to provide advance technology demonstration, analysis, and engineering support for hypersonic technologies.
