Requirements

  • Furnish construction industrial support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) in Philadelphia PA.
  • Navy shipboard machinery and related support systems and components that will be the focus of the industrial support services required.
  • Provide construction support in accordance with design drawings and design specifications provided by the Government with each individual task order.
  • Construction support shall primarily be in any of the Navy shipboard machinery, located on the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Philadelphia, PA 19112-5083.  Where adequately available, the Contractor shall connect
    installed equipment to existing utilities required for the equipment being installed.  Tie-in locations for utility points of connections shall be submitted to COR/TPOC who then is responsible to provide a copy to Code 362
    for review and approval.  Equipment installation shall be complete and operable in all respects including connection to all utility sources, installation of controls, emergency shutdown, etc.
  • When required, provide construction, renovation, demolition, and facility construction/maintenance support for buildings, Navy shipboard machinery, located on the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Philadelphia.  This support shall include, but not be limited to: minor construction; office renovations; office configuration and moving; roof repair and replacement; roof preventative maintenance; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; cooling system controls; fuel system repair; electrical system upgrades; and elevator certification and maintenance.
