Requirements

  • This requirement is to provide software engineering support services to the Department of Transportation (DOT), exclusive of FAA. Contractors will support all DOT and OA software development and maintenance needs. The award of this requirement will result in multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) that will serve as a department-wide vehicles, exclusive of FAA. It’s designed to be broad and flexible in scope to achieve maximum applicability. Such applicability supports achievement of the benefits of a mandatory-use procurement vehicle. Vendors will develop applications on a variety of platforms. The specific requirements of each application will be developed before or on an on-going basis when a project is initiated. Funds will be provided/obligated at the order level.
