Requirements

  • The Contractor shall provide agile software development support for TRAC2ES, which has up to 8K users at any given time.
  • The Contractor shall provide solution consulting and programming to:
    • implement new system capabilities
    • implement change requests
    • sustain deployed capabilities by rapidly troubleshooting and repairing software issues (i.e. correct software defects)
    • provide technical expertise to ensure high availability of the application to meet the USTRANSCOM mission
    • receive and respond to problems reported by system users (i.e. correct incidents)
    • improve the system’s security posture.
  • The Contractor shall provide support in achieving the discipline of Development/Security/Operations (DevSecOps).  This support shall include expertise with the Contractor shall utilize the most current available USTRANSCOM Enterprise approved tools for achieving DevSecOps and maximize cloud services.  The Contractor shall provide system functionality while reducing and/or eliminating dependency on individually licensed Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products.  This support shall include expertise with Java. The Contractor shall provide support in achieving the discipline of DevSecOps.  This support shall include expertise with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and the use of software build pipelines.
  • Further, the Contractor shall provide expertise to build and maintain the TRAC2ES development, non-production, exercise, training and production environments in the USTRANSCOM Unclassified and Classified Government Cloud (TC-UGC and TC-CGC).
