Requirements

  • This requirement is for environmental remediation activities at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina (SC).  This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the scope of environmental services necessary to conduct site restoration under the Optimized Remediation Contract (ORC).  The range of activities includes investigation, design, construction of remedial systems, operation and maintenance of established remedies, optimization at applicable sites, and achievement of site-specific objectives.  The Contractor shall undertake Environmental Remediation activities to achieve Performance Objectives (POs) at twenty-three (23) Installation Restoration Program (IRP) sites and zero (0) Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) sites.
  • The Contractor shall provide Environmental restoration services for Shaw AFB and its satellites in compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and local environmental laws. The Contractor shall follow all aspects of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) investigations and reports which are regulated by the Shaw Hazardous Waste Permit issued by the State of South Carolina. The Contractor shall be capable of providing innovative technologies, as well as traditional methods of site investigation and remediation while complying with all applicable USACE policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and/or local statutes, rules and regulations.
