Requirements

This is a non-personal services contract to provide yearly track inspection, monthly railroad track and signal crossing inspections, routine maintenance, vegetation management and prevention, annual tie replacement, emergency repair, and tree trimming services. CLIN X001 – Rail Inspection and Routine Maintenance, CLIN X002 – Signal Crossing Inspection and Routine Maintenance, CLIN X003 – Pesticide Treatment, CLIN X004 – Replacement of cross ties, tamp, regulate, and add ballast, CLIN X005 – Replace switch/head block ties, tamp, regulate, and add ballast, CLIN 0006 – Emergency Repairs and railroad tree trimmings services for this contract may be considered Mission Essential. If the Contractor utilizes a subcontractor for the requirement, they shall be accountable solely to the Contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract.
