Background

DEL 8: Mission is focused on Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and is the focal point for U.S. protected and assured Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM).
53 SOPS: Provides mission assurance and continuous operations support through real-time correlated monitoring, control and management of MILSATCOM through five (5) geographically separated Wideband SATCOM Operations Centers (WSOCs). The WSOCs are the first line of defense for assigned satellites, terminals and users, and provides access to DoD Wideband SATCOM.
SATCOM Office: Provides operational SATCOM payload management and planning through Consolidated SATCOM Systems Experts (C-SSE) and Regional SATCOM Support Centers (RSSC).

Requirements

The Contractor shall:

  • Provide services including system administration, operations support, training, database management, and network analysis of the Wideband Global Satellite System (WGS) and Defense Satellite Communication System (DSCS) constellations.
