GSA has released an update related to the Request for Quote (RFQ) for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Mission Information Technology Services (NMITS). The services are required in support of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), while the requirement is a set aside for 100% Small Businesses.

The post-RFP update about the GSA SCHEDULE 70 IT EQUIPMENT SOFTWARE AND SERVICES contract vehicle was released on May 30, 2019, under the RFQ1354981 solicitation number. The primary requirement of the acquisition in Information and Technology services, under the 541519 Other Computer Related Services. Furthermore, according to the notice, the size standard is $27.5 million annual receipts except 150 Employees for Information Technology Value Added Resellers.

Although the information is subject to change or is not guaranteed as stated in the Solicitation, the Government estimates that the volume of purchases under the BPAs will be approximately $2.1 billion for over 10 years period of performance.

NOA-NIMTS is a  Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Labor-Hour, Task Order, Blanket Purchase Agreement contract type with 5 years base plus an additional of 5 years options for Task order up to 60 months past end of ordering period, which is up to 15 years in total.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is an agency of the United States Department of Commerce that serves as America’s environmental intelligence agency to provide timely, reliable and actionable information, based on sound science for the United States.

Through this acquisition, the Government requires IT Support Services to develop, operate, and/or manage hardware and software applications across NOAA ships, aircraft, Centers, Divisions, and Programs throughout CONUS (the place of performance).

The Offeror that will win the award will work with MACC to support OMAO Divisions and Programs, CPC, MO, and AOC IT infrastructure and services by providing:
