Background

Currently VA intends to award a new contract/task order to continue scaling the current capabilities of the Digital Transformation Center (DTC) and further expand the DTC to support additional cloud technologies including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and other emerging technologies.  By expanding the DTC to cover these additional technologies, VA will be able to increase its ability to improve service delivery to Veterans, through improved IT products and services.  For the purposes of competing this effort, VA is looking to objectively assess whether outside parties can operate the DTC in this increased capacity.

Requirements

  • The Contractor shall be responsible for the creation, maintenance, enforcement, analysis and updates of the Standards and Governance established by the current DTC and provide technical and operational support to the DTC for SaaS, PaaS, and emerging technologies. The Contractor shall also provide system integration services to support all aspects of the DTC including project management, security and compliance, platform management, intake, communications, license management, sustainment, and end user support
